Visual Kei band LM.C’s new single, “Hoshi no Arika“, has been chosen as the theme song for the anime, “Nurarihyon no Mago“, starting July 3rd. Regarding the collaboration of their song and the anime, the duo commented:
Aiji – “LM.C is a unit that expresses a wide variety of music. Since long ago, I felt our open and catchy music style were well-suited for animes.”
maya – “‘Hoshi no Arika’ has a catchy and royal melody, LM.C’s specialty.”
Aiji – “And that song will be the opening for ‘Nurarihyon no Mago’. On top of that, it’s going to be the theme song for the Kyoto episode, right? There are rumors that a popular character will make an appearance, so we are expecting big things…”
maya – “The anime unfolding in the synchronization of the lyrics and sounds is also a highlight. We hid titles and lyrics of singles from successive generations in ‘Hoshi no Arika’. We also summarized LM.C’s past 5 years in this song.”

“Hoshi no Arika”, which will be released on July 27th, has already been performed at their lives, gaining wild support from their fans. The single will be available in 4 versions with 4 different covers.
